NSFW. Not Safe For Work.
It’s an acronym that often accompanies explicit online content. The idea is that you shouldn’t click that link or watch that video if your boss or co-workers are around. Instead you should wait till you’re in a safer area. The dangerous implication is that there is a safe place for that content at all. 1 Thessalonians 4:6-8 seems to disagree. Damage our relationship with others.
that no one transgress and wrong his brother in this matter – 1 Thessalonians 4:6
Sexual sin is never a victimless crime. You’re either robbing yourself, someone else’s spouse, and/or someone else’s son or daughter.

Damage our relationship with God.
the Lord is an avenger in all these things – 1 Thessalonians 4:6
Even when no one else sees, God sees, and our sin always pushes us away from Him.

Distract from our destination.
God has not called us for impurity, but in holiness. – 1 Thessalonians 4:7
When God says NO to something, He’s saying YES to something far greater. A NO to sexual sin is an invitation to our destination: holiness. Sexual sin distracts us from that destination.

Devalue God-given gifts.
whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God – 1 Thessalonians 4:8
God has given us the gifts of sex and of His Spirit, and living in sexual sin undervalues and tramples on both.

Disconnect from God’s power.
whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you. – 1 Thessalonians 4:8
The Holy Spirit empowers us to live the life of holiness God has called us to. Indulging in sexual sin disconnects us from His power.

NSFW? More like NSFYS. Not Safe For Your Soul.
It seems pretty clear there is no safe place whatsoever for anything in our lives that has consequences this devastating. Kill sin before it kills you!
