Awaken Easter weekend was off the charts. I expected big things, but my expectations were low, apparently! I’ve never seen Awaken function more like a team and a family than I did on Easter weekend. We hustled, and we exhausted ourselves, but souls are worth the exhaustion. We agree with Paul: “I will gladly spend and be spent for souls.” And now that it’s over, we are spent! #EasterHangover.
GOOD FRIDAY
We had over 200 people show up for Good Friday, so we had to open up our South Venue for overflow. That night, 4 people gave their lives to Christ then celebrated Communion with us…

Worship was ALIVE on Good Friday with the biggest Awaken band we’ve ever had: NINE musicians in all!
EASTER CARNIVAL
On Saturday, somewhere between 800-1,000 people showed up to our Easter carnival. We ran out of parking, and people were hiking from 3-4 blocks away to get there. Good news: we only had to break up one fight between moms during one of the the Easter egg hunts!

Becca, one of our faithful Awaken Connect Team Members ran a carnival game and gave out prizes on Saturday.
AWAKEN EASTER
Easter blew our minds. We had 968 people fill our venues to overflowing. Thankfully the weather was nice because we had to seat people outside during our 11am service. There was “no room in the inn!” We also had killer music from The Advice and As Isaac.
Since Jesus holds the keys the Death and Hades (Revelation 1:18), He came to lock up sin and unlock those enslaved to sin. Every single service, we got to see people respond to the Gospel.
We had 4 kids give their lives to Jesus at Awaken Kids and 10 people in our 3 services. Over all, 18 people surrendered to Christ over Good Friday and Easter weekend!
Thanks to all who did their part to make it possible! The battle is super and natural. We did the natural; God showed up and did the supernatural!
We’re throwing a big baptism party this weekend April 26/27)! We’ll be baptizing people after all 3 services. Sign up here!
Thanks to Angela Ashcraft for the amazing pictures!
Awesome! Wish I could have been there to celebrate with you all!! <3
We came to the easter carnival it was simply off the chain!!!! Came to 11:00 clock service sat in south van prayer room but it did not matter we recd the message from our father and it spoke to our hearts we love awaken and pastor Kevin you just rock!!!! We will be back.
The carnival was a huge success. It was a blessing volunteering for the Clarksville/Ft. Campbell community. I hope many saw the ad for the carnival entered on the bookoo website (esp. the Ft. Campbell community) and attended. The Easter services, Pastor Kevin, and bands were awesome as well.
