A while back someone asked me what our hobbies were. I had to think for a minute. Hobbies? Well, what do I spend a lot of my time doing? Raising children, reading, hanging out with my wife, eating food, drinking coffee. I didn’t think the title “hobby” fit any of those real well, so Jenn and I tried to come up with a hobby. We made plans to refinish a table and do some woodworking.
2 years later…We still don’t refinish tables or do woodworking.
Those aren’t our hobbies.
As we sat at a local coffee shop, drinking a great cup of local coffee, we finally realized (and embraced) that our hobby is COFFEE.
So when we bought a house at the end of 2014, the Miller Coffee & Tea Bar was born.
It’s come a long way since we started it a year and a half ago. We went from a French press and drip coffee maker to Chemex, Cuban lattes, cold brew (steeped for 20 hours before serving), and now we roast our own coffee!
We will be roasting the coffee in the next 2 weeks some time, but we are currently taking pre-orders now on our website. We’ll ship it to wherever you live, so get your pre-orders in now!
